Dr. Michael Saso is a board-certified Specialist in Dental Anaesthesia with over 35 years of distinguished experience in clinical practice and dental education. A graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry (DDS, 1987), Dr. Saso furthered his training with a hospital internship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and subsequently earned his Diploma in Dental Anaesthesia from the University of Toronto in 1990.
Professional work
For three decades, Dr. Saso led a respected practice in Ottawa, exclusively serving adult patients requiring complex pain and anxiety management. His clinical expertise is matched by his passion for education—he has lectured nationally for the Ontario Dental Association and other provincial and federal organizations on topics such as local anaesthesia, sedation techniques, medical emergency protocols, and comprehensive medical history evaluation.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Saso is an avid golfer and skier, a dedicated traveler—especially to Italy—and a passionate sports enthusiast.
